M'Brace Hair Solutions was founded by Dallas Smith-Gaskins after she recognized a critical gap in the beauty industry: scalp health was being overlooked, misunderstood, and underrepresented. She stepped into that gap with purpose.
We are a team of certified Trichologists dedicated to helping men and women overcome hair and scalp challenges that are often dismissed in traditional hair care settings. Our approach bridges beauty, health, science, and care in a way that is both clinically sound and deeply human.

Dallas Gaskins is a Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Trichologist, and the founder of M'Brace Hair Solutions — a specialized hair and scalp care studio dedicated to restoring confidence through healthy hair. With a deep passion for scalp health and a commitment to holistic care, Dallas has positioned herself as a trusted expert in treating hair loss, scalp conditions, and maintaining natural hair, including Sisterlocks and Microlocks. As a skilled loctician, she provides expert installation, maintenance, and care while ensuring the integrity of both the hair and scalp. Her approach goes beyond surface-level beauty — she focuses on identifying the root cause of hair and scalp concerns while creating personalized treatment plans that deliver real, lasting results. Recognizing a gap in the industry, Dallas created M'Brace Hair Solutions to be a safe, welcoming space for women and men experiencing hair and scalp challenges. Her mission is to normalize scalp care, educate her clients, and provide solutions that support both beauty and overall wellness. Nakia Parker-Barnes
Nakia is a dedicated Certified Trichologist, Hair Loss Practitioner, and Licensed Cosmetologist with over a decade of experience. Licensed since 2013 and trichology-certified in December 2023, she specializes in Microlocks and is deeply committed to science-based scalp care. As our newest team member, Nakia is currently being trained in the M'Brace way — bringing her clinical knowledge and passion for hair health into alignment with the M'Brace standard of care. Originally from Capitol Heights, MD, she is a wife and mother of three whose personal journey deepened her passion for wellness and self-care.
